Sponsorship & Cause Marketing Opportunities

Sponsorship of Volunteer San Diego events and programs provides your company with opportunities to participate in focused activities addressing needs that are important to your customers and employees. Through Volunteer San Diego’s Cause Marketing Campaign, you can showcase your company’s community involvement and support of volunteerism.

Both sponsorship and cause marketing benefits include public recognition and a positive association with strong, professional programming.

Sponsorships

Volunteer San Diego's Serve-a-thon
Serve-a-thon is our largest annual service event, which mobilizes thousands of volunteers from employee teams, military, school, church and family groups to strengthen their communities and complete projects throughout the county. Serve-a-thon sponsorship will serve as a portal to a year-round Employee Volunteer Program at your corporation. Introduce your employees to volunteering with Serve-a-thon projects and continue with meaningful volunteer projects throughout the year. With sponsorship, your employees will be enrolled in our Flexible Volunteer Program (Flex), open to over 90 projects monthly. Flex allows individuals and groups of all ages to volunteer at times and locations convenient to them. We make volunteering easy!
Participation is free, sponsorship opportunities from $5,000 to $35,000.

Quarterly Project Calendar
Volunteer San Diego’s project calendar hosts hundreds of volunteer projects each month. Your organization can sponsor projects in impact areas that interest your employees or customers including Children/Youth, Adult Literacy, Health/Wellness, Animal Support, Citizen Action, Computers & Technology, Environment, and Renovation/Revitalization/Repair. Our most popular webpage, the project calendar is viewed over 100,000 times each month.
Sponsorship levels available are $1,000 per quarter per impact area, or
$5,000 per quarter for all 8 impact areas.

Cause Marketing

Showcase your company’s involvement in the community and support of volunteerism by participating in Volunteer San Diego’s Cause Marketing Campaign. The campaign is designed to be flexible to adapt to your company’s changing needs and utilizes a variety of media (television and radio) to raise awareness about volunteering and “make volunteering a way of life” for San Diego County residents.
