Hurricane Relief Efforts

Many thanks to all of you who have given your support and assistance in the wake of the Hurricane Katrina and Rita disasters.

Help still needed...

1. Volunteer Locally
  • Volunteers are needed to staff the “Project Restore Hope” Hurricane Katrina and Rita call center located in Poway. Call center volunteers will conduct intake interviews, and provide a basic level of assistance, compassion, counseling and/or referrals for additional services. Interested? 2. Volunteer in the effected areas

  • Katrina Construction Volunteers: If you have construction skills (handyman or higher) and would like to be considered for a one-week deployment to help rebuild homes, please click here for more information.
  • Healthcare & Relief Personnel: The local San Diego County Medical Society is continuing the process of mobilizing and identifying healthcare professionals and relief personnel to assist in hurricane relief efforts. Click here for more information.
