Brown Bags

Brown bags are held on the 3rd Wednesday or Thursday of each month from 11:45 am - 1:15 pm. Bring your lunch, business cards and any materials you have that relate to the discussion topic. Anyone who leads volunteers in an organization is welcome to attend (Members: free / Non-members: $5).

What is a Brown Bag?
  • An opportunity to network with those who work with volunteers or run volunteer programs.
  • A time to share your experiences. If you know about this topic, please come as an expert.
  • After a presentation and discussion on the topic of the day, there will be allotted time at the end of the session for your pressing issues.

First Thursday of every month, 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Are you using Volunteer San Diego's resources to their full potential? Learn more about the wide variety of programs and services we offer and how to maximize your benefits from participating. These sessions, held in our office in Kearny Mesa, provide the opportunity to learn more about us, meet our team, ask questions specific to your organization, and gain valuable information on effective volunteer recruitment.
