Accessible Opportunities

Volunteer San Diego offers several ways to find accessible opportunities:
  • When you sign up or request more information about a project ("have agency contact me"), you will be given the option to request accommodations.
  • Check out some of our accessible Flex projects, click here.
  • Alternatively, to locate projects accessible by wheelchairs, click here.

Not finding anything that suits you? Volunteer San Diego is always looking for ways to increase Service Inclusion opportunities. If you have suggestions on types of positions, days, times,

locations, accessibility needs, or anything else, let us know. We want to hear from you! We will work to accommodate your needs. Email volunteer1@volunteersandiego.org or call 858-300-3280 x299.

Remote / Virtual Opportunities

Remote / virtual volunteering means volunteer tasks can be completed from anywhere.  Often, time restrictions, personal preferences, accessibility limitations or a lack of transportation prohibits people from volunteering.  Remote volunteering is a great option for individuals, with or without disabilities, who want to give back to their communities. Click here to search a list of remote / virtual opportunities.

Keep us Informed

Volunteer San Diego wants to know how our Service Inclusion program is running! We depend on feedback from our volunteers! Please email volunteer1@volunteersandiego.org or call 858-300-3280 x299 with any suggestions or questions.
