SAVY, a program of
Volunteer San Diego, has been empowering
young people to make a difference in
communities since 1984. Middle and high
school students throughout San Diego County
have the opportunity to develop and
demonstrate leadership skills while meeting
real community needs.
Who Can Participate?
Are you at least 14, but no older than 19?
Do you want to make a difference in your
community? Do you want to participate in fun
and meaningful opportunities designed
exclusively for you? If the answer to these
questions is “Yes!” then SAVY is for YOU!
What do SAVY Members do?
SAVY Calendar
Through a calendar of monthly service
projects, SAVY Members have the opportunity
to complete community service hours and have
fun, while helping protect the environment,
create art projects for seniors, prepare
food packages for the hungry, help care for
abandoned animals and much more. All
projects are team based and require no
on-going commitment, simply volunteer as
much or as little as you are able.
