Volunteer San Diego's Serve-a-thon: October 8-9

		Serve-a-thon takes place each fall and is the largest community service event and fundraiser for Volunteer San Diego. This year marks the 20th annual Serve-a-thon (formally known as HandsOn San Diego) where we’ll mobilize 1,000+ volunteers to complete over 40 projects in San Diego County. In 2010, Serve-a-thon projects will impact Education in San Diego County and volunteers will learn about the issues, community needs, viable solutions and ways to take action through service. Help us make a difference today by serving our schools, colleges and education-focused community organizations.
All the funds raised by Serve-a-thon support Volunteer San Diego's programs, which create positive change in education, hunger, health and wellness, senior services, environment and more.
