| BEFORE THE THREAT: City of San Diego CERT Program |
Agency: City of San Diego CERT Program
Description:
The City of San Diego is home to several urban wild land interfaces, where homes and businesses bump up against tracks of undeveloped lands and habitats.
To help heighten the awareness of the existing dangers of wildfire to our communities in these interfaces, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, in concert with the San Diego County Fire Chiefs Association and the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services, will be handing out thousands of informational pamphlets and DVDs to citizens who live in high fire risk communities and neighborhoods around the city--in Scripps Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Tierrasanta, and more.
Feel free to pick a time slot between the designated hours that will work for you and your friends.
