With the holidays quickly approaching, it is a reminder of that time of the year when many children eagerly await the arrival of toys and presents. However, many of the families SAY San Diego works with will have few or no gifts. These children are our motivation to bring back their smiles for the holiday season and that is why we are turning to you for help. Thanks to donors like you, last year through SAY San Diego’s Adopt-a-Family program, over 400 families were able to happily celebrate the holidays too. Adopt-a-Family is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family, friends or fellow employees to help create a meaningful and memorable holiday for a family. Your donation, whether monetary or tangible, is tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. If you would like to receive a wish list from a family that is in need, we can most certainly provide you with that information.

Between December 9-19, Monday-Saturday, 2-3 hour shifts, volunteers will be needed at the SAY San Diego office to greet donors, help donors unload gifts and sort the gifts according to the family they will go to. We will also need some help wrapping any gifts that aren't already wrapped (all supplies will be provided).

This project is approved for volunteers with the following restrictions: Court-Ordered, Allow Pending Members
