During this hands-on training you will:
1) Learn how to engage schools and recruit student volunteers to help meet your mission
2) Explore the definitions of service-learning versus community service
3) Practice an easy-to-use planning tool to integrate meaningful learning into your agency’s volunteer opportunities
4) Work in impact area focus groups to brainstorm project ideas that ensure student volunteer learning while meeting your agency’s goals
Participants will also receive FREE resources, tools and access to on-going consultation to support them after completion of this training.

We accept checks (made payable to Volunteer San Diego) or money orders. If you decide not to attend, reimbursements will be granted no later than 48 hours in advance of the training. After that, fees become nonrefundable due to copying and other administrative costs incurred.
